Thank you for your interest in joining the AVATalk team as a language teacher. We’re excited to have you take part in our comprehensive recruitment process designed to identify top-tier educators with a passion for language teaching. Below are the detailed instructions to guide you through the test successfully.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Fill Out the Resume Form
Begin the recruitment process by completing the resume form. Please ensure all your details are accurate and up-to-date. Your resume will provide us with initial insights into your qualifications and teaching experience.
Step 2: Make the Payment
Upon completing the resume form, the next step is to process your application fee. This fee is necessary to access the subsequent stages of the recruitment process. Once your payment is successful, you will automatically be transferred to Step 3.
Step 3: Answer the Neo Test
The Neo Test is an integral part of our assessment process, aimed at evaluating your personality traits. Known as the Big Five Personality Test or NEO PI-R, it employs a five-factor model to measure your individual personality characteristics. This widely used test in the corporate sector provides valuable insights, helping us understand your compatibility with our team culture.
Step 4: English Proficiency Test Instructions
The English Proficiency Test is divided into four parts to assess your language skills comprehensively:
Part 1: Listening
• You will listen to a recording played once, so take notes carefully.
• After listening, respond to the accompanying questions based on your notes.
Part 2: Structure
• Answer 20 questions focusing on English grammar and structure. This section evaluates your understanding of English syntactical rules.
Part 3: Reading
• Read a provided text and respond to the accompanying questions. This section tests your comprehension skills and ability to analyze written English.
Part 4: Teaching
• Review two English Language Teaching (ELT) case studies.
• Record your responses and solutions to these cases.
• Technical Requirement: Ensure your microphone is set up correctly to produce a clear recording.
